The project foresees the improvement of road infrastructure between two localities from the two sides of the Hungarian-Romanian border, Pocsaj and Rosiori. Building the cross-border connection road ensures the strengthening of the economic contacts and regional activities, simplifying the access to the economic centres. The project improves the mobility of the communities and access to cross-border services. The main activities of this project are: technical planning and authorization (preparation and verification of architectural and technical design documentation, obtaining building permits, obtaining the occupancy permit and other necessary permits, expropriation of lands affected by the investment), construction works (road construction, asphalt layer installation, works related to drainage system creation). The target groups of the project are represented by the local population of Pocsaj and Roşiori, 5745 persons (2733 residents in Pocsaj and 3012 inhabitants in Roşiori) according to 2001/2002 year censuses.
