Second meeting of the Joint Monitoring Commitee (JMC)

The second Joint Monitoring Committee meeting of the Programme took place in Satu Mare, Romania on 25 March, 2009.
The meeting was attended, besides the representatives of the counties from the border region, by the representatives of the Managing Authority (Hungary), of the National Authority (Romania) and the observers representing key stakeholders from the eligible area. On behalf of the European Commission, DG Regio, Territorial Co-operation Unit, Mrs. Genevieve Leveaux was also present at this event. The JTS and IP also participated.
As an outcome of the meeting the Rules of Procedure of the JMC and JSC were slightly modified and the Annual Working Plan for 2009 of the JTS and IP were agreed on. Information was given to those present regarding the Annual Report 2008 of the JTS and IP. At last but not least the Annual Working Plan 2009 of the National Authority from Romania, and also the programmes’ annual communication plan for 2009 were introduced to those present.
