Project title:

Asociația IT Carei has the honour to invite you to the training for community reporters organized in the frame of the project COmmunity-based Borderland news Agency and resource Centre (COBAC) held on July 18-21th 2012 at Barantó Guestrooms (2 km from the border crossing point Nyírábrány – Valea lui Mihai, by route DJ 19C). The COBAC project is implemented by Dél-alföldi Regionális Társadalomtudományi Kutatási Egyesület in partnership with Asociația IT Carei.

The aim of the project is to develop a community-accessible and powered news portal based on a web 2.0 engine. The goal of the portal is to share community news in the border region, as the community reporters on both sides of the border see it. The training will introduce you to the followings: information about the project, introduction to jurnalism, community reporting, utilization of the COBAC portal, community making technics.

Every participant will receive a certificate of attendance. Taking part of the training is free, but the number of participants is limited to 15 persons. For further information about the project or about the event please contact us on e-mail (office@itcarei.ro) or phone (+40-764-309122).
